Running Swap and play

Wendy and I do a "running swap" each week where we get the kids together. She'll watch the kids while I run, then I'll watch them while she runs. And the kids get a playdate!  It has worked out beautifully!

Caleb and Elijah share a love of trains, Elijah and James play cars, Leah and Eva love playing dolls together,  Elijah and Leah share the same humour, and Eva and James are at similar developmental stages (lots of climbing and wiggling),  and Caleb thinks Eva's thrill-seeker ways are hilarious. I love watching the babies grow to be playmates with the "big"kids.

Crochet!

David's been working long hours so I got on YouTube and taught myself crochet! Here's Elijah modeling the hat I made him. (He's also showing off his monkey and the trains he bought with his Christmas money.)

More crochet creations to be posted soon... I'm hooked... hahaha!

She's got a ponytail!

Eva's hair is getting longer so we tried a ponytail. She rips the barrettes right out but hasn't noticed this. Of course I had to pin her down to do her hair... She looks like a little girl! :)
